From February 6, 2023, Amazon will begin to restrict the sale of the following categories of products not registered in MAEDbS to California:
? Light bulb;
? Pool products and portable spa products;
? Portable air conditioner;
? Computer and monitor.
The above must meet the requirements of CEC Title20 Electrical Energy Efficiency Standard, and be registered in the CEC Energy Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS). The registration information includes brand name, manufacturer name, model, etc. That is to say, the above categories must meet the CEC Title 20 Energy Efficiency Certification and be registered in the CEC Energy Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS). If there is no CEC MAEDbS registration, it cannot be sold in California. Once the seller completes MAEDbS registration, it will automatically resume sales.
