On October 11, 2021, the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standardization Administration) approved and issued 4 of the 9 standards for the determination of certain substances in electrical and electronic products. This release is the second release following the five standards in the series released on December 14, 2020.
So far, the current China RoHS supporting testing standards have all been released.
The revision of GB/T 26125-2011 (equivalent to the adoption of IEC 62321:2008) and the revision and release of the series of standards equivalent to the adoption of IEC 62321 are to adapt to the industry’s requirements for the restriction of new types of hazardous substances and the development of new detection technologies, while maintaining China’s RoHS testing technology and results are consistent with international standards. It has played an important role in promoting the realization of the mutual recognition of China RoHS and the international docking, and striving to become a participant and leader in the green development of the global electrical and electronic industry.
After the release and implementation of the GB/T 39560 series of standards, it will replace the current China RoHS supporting testing standards, and will achieve the consistency of China RoHS and the European Union and other regional or national regulatory requirements and testing methods.
