Recently, the national standards GB 1002-2024 \"Types, Basic Parameters and Dimensions of Single-phase Plugs and Sockets for Household and Similar Uses\" and GB 2099.7-2024 \"Safety Technical Specifications for Extension Cords and Sockets for Household and Similar Uses\" have been officially released, and the recommended national standards have been changed into mandatory national standards, and the mandatory upgrade of plug and socket safety will be implemented on August 1, 2025!
On September 3, 2021, the European Electrotechnical Standardization Committee issued the first revised version of the standard EN 62133-2:2017, which is equivalent to IEC 62133-2:2017/AMD1:2021 issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission.
