On March 16, 2023, the State Administration of Market Supervision issued a notice, deciding to implement mandatory product certification (CCC certification) management for lithium ion batteries and battery packs used in electronic and electrical products, mobile power supplies, and power adapters/chargers used in telecommunications terminal products.
On February 7, 2023, the European Parliament and the European Commission launched public consultation on the \"Proposal to amend the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) (2012/19/EU)\". This proposal is intended to amend Article 12 (1), (3), (4), Article 13 (1) and Article 15 (2) of the WEEE Directive, mainly involving the principle of extended producer responsibility (EPR) related to the collection and financing of photovoltaic panel waste.

On February 7, 2023, ECHA published the details of the proposal submitted by Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden to ECHA on adding restrictions on the manufacture, marketing and use of PFAS in the REACH restriction section.
